Peter Hadinger helps to guide the development of technology companies, leveraging his more than four decades of technical and executive experience in satellite system development.  He has directed billion-dollar global satellite system designs, spearheaded new technology insertion and created new commercial and government-unique products in high-technology industries. 

 

Mr. Hadinger spent 30 years as a leader in technology development, engineering and government spacecraft programs at TRW/Northrop Grumman and holds several patents in advanced satellite communications. Peter joined Inmarsat in 2011 to develop government-focused capabilities for the innovative Global Xpress program. He was subsequently appointed President of Inmarsat’s US Government business unit and later corporate Chief Technology Officer, responsible for developing a global network of satellites, ground systems, networks, and terminals. Since the sale of Inmarsat he has been an executive strategic advisor to new technology firms in the satellite industry.  He has held industry leadership roles in crafting the global Telecom Services Agreement at the WTO, as Vice-Chair of the FCC's WRC Advisory Committee and Vice-Chair of the Satellite Task Force for the President's National Security Telecom Advisory Committee. 

 

Mr. Hadinger is a past chairman of the Satellite Industry Association and served as a Brookings Congressional Fellow in the US Senate. He received a BSEEE and is in the Engineering Hall of Fame at Cal Poly Pomona, holds an MBA from George Mason University and serves on advisory boards at Virginia Tech and UK regulator Ofcom.  He has experience working with proxy boards.
