Peter Hadinger

Peter Hadinger helps to guide the development of technology companies, leveraging his more than four decades of technical and executive experience in satellite system development. His focus is primarily on global satellite system design, technology insertion and deployment of new government-unique capabilities.
Mr. Hadinger spent 30 years as a leader in technology development, engineering and government spacecraft programs at TRW/Northrop Grumman and holds several patents in advanced satellite communications. Peter joined Inmarsat in 2011 to develop government-focused capabilities for the innovative Global Xpress program. He was subsequently appointed President of Inmarsat’s US Government business unit and later corporate Chief Technology Officer, responsible for developing a global network of satellites, ground systems, networks, and terminals. Since Inmarsat’s acquisition by Viasat he has been an executive strategic advisor to Viasat and other firms. He has held industry leadership roles in crafting the global Telecom Services Agreement at the WTO, as Vice-Chair of the FCC's WRC Advisory Committee and Vice-Chair of the Satellite Task Force for the President's National Security Telecom Advisory Committee.
Mr. Hadinger is a past chairman of the Satellite Industry Association and served as a Brookings Congressional Fellow in the US Senate. He received a BSEEE and is in the Engineering Hall of Fame at Cal Poly Pomona, holds an MBA from George Mason University and serves on advisory boards at Virginia Tech and UK regulator Ofcom.
